University Overview Here

CIT, Kokrajhar is in Assam's Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) district of Kokrajhar. CIT was founded to fulfil the Bodo People's aspirations for cultural identity, language, education, and economic development of the region by providing Bodo youths with technological and vocational training to produce the manpower needed to boost economic growth and integrate the Bodo into the mainstream of Technical and Vocational Education. It is centrally funded by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Institute was founded December 19, 2006.
