About the School

Shri R.R. Deswal, former Principal of Army Service Corps School, Meerut, philanthropist and Social Worker of Haryana had a vision for a progressive society where men and women would be equal to each other and in their equality lay the secret for the advancement of humanity. Perturbed by the untimely death of his two sons, Manoj and Rajendra, in the prime of their youth he relinquished the Government Job and came back to his home town and decided to spend his remaining life in the service of the society. With a team of people who has a vision and commitment towards quality school education, Saint Soldier Educational Society, Bahadurgarh was formed and got registered in the year 1983. In the ever lasting memory of his sons St. Soldier Manoj Rajendra Public school, Bahadurgarh was founded and it became functional in the year 1987. The school was initially affiliated to Board of school education Haryana, Bhiwani and was granted affiliation by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in the year 2008. The aim of the school is to educate and train young boys and girls who are disciplined, responsible and committed like soldiers and later serve the society and nation in various spheres and roles. The motto of the school is enshrined in the Sanskrit words ‘Vidya Dadati Vinayam’ which means ' Education gives cultured mannerism'. All efforts are directed towards the achievement of this objective considering that education is a social vehicle, which must subdue hatred, violence and anger and must inculcate discipline, kindness and politeness among young ones. At St. Soldier M.R. Public School, the medium of instruction is the English language. The school provides education that nurtures the traditions of our ancient culture and incorporates the contemporary influences of the west too. It focuses on all round development of personality and thorough education of pupils in order to make him conscientious and responsible citizen. More importantly, the school imparts the right values and norms of behavior, thus helping the students enhance their confidence and ability. The school is situated in Serene, calm and pollution free surroundings. The spacious campus boasts of an imaginative, esthetically and inventively constructed academic wing, an administrative block, large play fields, a health club, a spacious library with over 3000 books on various subjects, well equipped science, mathematics and computer laboratories. At SSMR Students and staff work together to develop a unique blend of mutual respect and cooperation, friendship, leadership, and love. The students and the staff truly work as a disciplined team of soldiers and create harmonious teaching learning environment. In the school emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual each student is ensured to make them a successful citizen. Students have opportunities to develop leadership skills. Each student has the opportunity of participating in a community service project; developing budgeting skills; appreciating art and culture ;developing a garden; preparing a resume; building crafts, preparing best from the waste etc. Taking part in skill building projects is an everyday occurrence. Special emphasis is laid on the development of scientific temperament of students. Students discover who they are and learn to share their ideas with the people they come into contact with. Thus all round development leads each student to develop self-esteem, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-management.
