About the School

JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA Niwarsi, Kurukshetra (Haryana) is co-educational, residential schools, fully financed by Government of India and run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti- an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. This Vidyalaya situated at the distance of 20KMs from District Head Quarter Kurukshetra on Yamuna Nagar Road near LADWA. This Vidyalaya is affiliated with C.B.S.E. Delhi. In1993 the foundation stone of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Niwarsi, Kurukshetra was laid down. The school campus covers around 30.3 acres of lush green area with its buildings. These buildings include academic block, mess, student hostels and staff quarters. The academic buildings including several classrooms are linked by a computer network. The widespread use of email and an intranet system shrinks the distances and keeps staff, students and administration in quick and easy contact with one another. The Vidyalaya is surrounded by fields of different crops. The school is located near the land of Mahabharata.
