About the School

The DAV Movement began with the formation of Dayanand Anglo College Trust and Management Society in 1885 and established its first institution, DAV School at Lahore on June 1, 1886. It is the largest nongovernment educational organisation in the country managing over 850 educational institutions including Professional Colleges and Universities. It has rendered unique service not only in dispelling ignorance and illiteracy but also in producing patriots, freedom fighters, social reformers, intellectuals, doctors, engineers, legal luminaries of unparalleled merit. The DAV Pehowa was established in April 1985 in Brahmin Dharamshala, Pehowa with 80 children. Now the school is English Medium, Co-educational and is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school is catering services to 2040 children from Pre_nursery to 10+2 and producing excellent results in all the fields.
