About the School

The KV started functioning from 01 November 1987 with classes from I to V. The Gram Panchayat of the Village Raghunathpura was kind enough to provide the temporary building and other essential facilities. As the Vidyalaya grew up in size with consequential rise in the classes, additional space and other support were also provided. In due course, the Panchayat allotted 16.3 acres of land to the KVS for building in its own campus.Important Milestone Of Growth Mid nineties saw expansion of the Vidyalaya in size besides construction of the School Building and the 11-units Staff Quarters in its own Campus at Raghunathpura Village (Tehsil - Narnaul, District – Mahendergarh @ Narnaul, State – Haryana). The first batch of Class X took the CBSE Board Examination in March 1993. Gradual Year Wise Expansion In Classes And Sections Leading To Present StatusDue to paucity of space in the temporary building, it could not be upgraded to the Senior Secondary level for almost 11 years. The environment became conducive when the school shifted to its new, vast and sprawling Campus in Jan 2000, simultaneously with the beginning of the new Century. The proposal for up gradation with Science Stream was submitted in August 2003 and approved by the Sangathan. Class XI (Science Stream) was started in April 2004.
