About the School

D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL was set up in 1984 with the efforts put in by Late Sh. J.N. Kapur, the real example of dedication, devotion, determination who established a chain of DAV Institutions at Yamuna Nagar, a sacred city christened after the name of well known river Yamuna which inculcates a sense of continuity among the students studying in educational institutions on its bank through its continous and untiring flow. The school glorifies its history byimparting modern education with a blend of traditional values existed in vedas. It is spreading over 4 acres piece of land. The scenic beauty of lush green lawns and various species of plants mesmerize the visitors visiting the school. Having all the three streams in Science, Commerce and Arts, the school stays ahead in developing different efficiencies of the students and polish them in right direction.
