Montfort Brothers The Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel is an International Society founded by St. Louis Mary de Montfort in 1703. The Society is spread out in 36 countries throughout the world. It is engaged primary in the field of education – formal as well as technical education. It gives special emphasis to the education of differently-abled. Its also involved in works among the poor in villagers and slums. It manages about 200 schools/colleges/industrial schools in India having over 5 lakh students. Montfort School, Hazaribag is a Christian minority institution. The medium of instruction is English. It runs classes from Nursery to Class XII. Though it is a Christian minority School, it caters to all, irrespective of caste, creed or linguistic groups. The School is recognised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi (CBSE). The students are prepared for All-India Secondary Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is a co-education school and the medium of instruction is English.
