About the School

Holy Cross School Hazaribagh is a Christian Minority School,run by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross,Familiarly known as Holy Cross Sisters.It was established on the occasion of 150 years Jubilee of the Congregation in April 2006.This congregation in April 2006.This Congregation was Founded in Switzerland,in the year 1856 by two two eminent personalities,Rev.Fr. Theodosius Florentini OFM cap and rev. Mother Theresea Schrer.It is an International congregation and the member of this congregation workin Europe,North and South America,Africa and Aisa.Since 1894 the sisters started serving the people of India.They render their service in various Fields like Formal and Non-Formal education,Teacher's Training,Nurse's Training and Vocational Training Centers,Hospitals,Orphanages,Oladage Homes and Aids Center and so on.In All these the priority is given to the less privileged of the Society.
