About the School

DAV Public School Urimari, a leading school of Jharkhand, is managed by DAV College Managing Committee , New Delhi. Despite being located in a remote coalfields area of Hazaribagh district(Jharkhand). The school has been making significant progress since its inception, i.e. 15/06/1994 and the school is up to secondary level at present with 1146 students and 30 teachers. The campus spans over three buildings comprising Administrative block , class rooms and the new proposed under construction building for +2 classes. The administrative building comprises of principal’s chamber, office, the staffroom, the examination and library room. The class room building includes twenty two classrooms with one composite Science Lab, Computer lab and Maths lab. The campus is beautiful with flower beds and Ashoka trees that add colour to the joy of children while learning. The teacher’s toilet and water supply system are connected with a boring pump in the campus itself. The school children have ample supply of filtered water and cold water as well specially during summer.
