About the School
Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1, HEC Ranchi (CBSE Affliation No:3400003) Under Ranchi Region was established in 1974 and is the second oldest Kendriya Vidyalaya at Ranchi. In the beginning the school ran under project sector HEC Ltd. Took care of its management but now from April 2003 onward the Vidyalaya is under Civil Sector being governed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Because of internal financial problems of H.E.C, the school was virgue of the closure but after conversion into civil sector the re-establishment took place and the vidyalaya is day by day progressing in all fields. it achieve the goal of flashing qualitative Board results and it providing a quality education to the students who are the future of nation.
