About the School

In the year 1989 he visited Daltonganj and felt the pulse of the people deprived of quality education and in the same year Mahatma N.D. Grover laid a rock solid foundation for quality education. The school was started in a rented building. It was shifted to the existing aesthetically and ergonomically designed building complex whose land is donated by an entrepreneur Sardar Harbans Singh in the cherished memory of his late wife Mahinder Kaur. Nestled in the lush green surroundings of the Palas trees, the magnificent M.K. DAV edifice, towering over the academic landscape of Daltonganj, stands out as a narcissistic testimony to what a pertinacious hue and cry of excellence can accomplish. M.K. DAV Public School, Daltonganj with a student resilience of 4000 approx, disseminated over an area of 4.11 acres in two wings, stands in the vanguard of quality and value added education in the region.
