About the School

Atomic Energy Central School, Indore is managed by Atomic Energy Education Society, Mumbai, an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. AEC School was established at RRCAT Colony Indore in 1985.It was started for the children of employees of the prestigious RRCAT and its various supporting organizations. In a short span it grew in leaps and bounds not only in terms of size but in the variety of activities that the students are exposed to - at state, national and international levels. The school’s approach to the teaching and learning veers away from the conventional and grooms students towards being confident, healthy, well-rounded personalities, all while taking into consideration individual aptitudes and interests. Now it has classes from Pre-Prep to XII. In Senior Secondary section we have Science Stream. A Local Management Committee which includes senior functionaries of RRCAT looks after the smooth and efficient functioning of the school. Director, RRCAT is the Chairman of LMC of AEC School, Indore.
