About the School

The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. As a result of the recommendations of the second Pay Commission. They Primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of the Central Govt. Employees including Defence Personnel and floating population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Needles to say, therefore they have common syllabus and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya, NHPC, Rambi is a unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Under Ministry of HRD Govt. of India. Kendriya Vidyalaya Rambi established in the year 2007 under the Sponsorship of NHPC,TLD-III power station, Rambi is the unique institute of its kind and has been catering to the needs of children belonging to transferable Central Govt. Employees, Defence Employees as well as the floating population of the district since its inception. It provides excellent academic opportunity from class I to X both in primary and secondary education with NCERT & CBSE courses.
