About the School

DAV Public Senior Secondary School, Kotkapura, a sapling planted in the year 1983, has now grown up into a well-nourished plant. The school is CBSE affiliated (Affiliation No. 1630101) and under the direct control of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. It has gracefully completed its 38 years. The school is well known not only for its Scholastic and Co-scholastic achievements but also for imparting quality education to youth. The main aim of school is to build sound and perfect personalities so that young scholars are not only academically strong but also strive to serve society selflessly. The school was started with the strength of hundred students. It is a matter of great pride that the institute is on the path of continuous progress. By following the same custom, Principal Dr.Rajveer Singh Kang. took over the charge in 2022 and now under his leadership, it has a beautiful campus with the strength of 1900 students with the availability of Science Labs including Atal Tinkering Lab, Mathematics Lab and two Computer Labs for junior and senior sections separately. School is proud owner of quality infrastructure including speakers, cameras and smart boards to enhance the teaching learning process. It also provides best arrangements for indoor and outdoor games. Moreover, The Principal makes the students to learn moral values by encouraging them to donate jaggery, bait and other eatables on their birthdays instead of distributing candies to the students to show respect and gratitude to cows as the land of the school belongs to them.
