Agile, active and alert at 76, Late.Mrs. Shanta Chopra, President of St. Soldier Educational Society, is the fountain head of enduring inspiration. Committed to the noble cause of education, she has devoted her whole life to spread the light of knowledge through the chain of St. Soldier Schools and Colleges in Punjab, Haryana & Delhi. Way back in 1958, even as a young lady, she realized that education would play a key role in the building of modern India. By dint of her incessant hard work, unstinted dedication, single-minded devotion to duty, crystal like clarity of vision, up-right conscience, firm faith in the maxim ˜Victory with Determination, her dream of 1958 sprouted and became a reality with 50 institutions in actual action. The milk of human kindness bubbles in her. She is a keen observer of the people and an enviable planner and organizer.
