Alpine Public School was established in March 1995 by Late S. Mehma Singh Grewal, a philanthropist having migrated from England so as to serve this area, his village being Sakraudi, quite in the proximity of Bhawanigarh. The School is the brain child of this unassuming and noble personality. School has been running under the aegis of Alpine Public School Educational Trust (a registered body). The institution is a co- educational, non-residential, English medium, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. Presently it prepares students up to CBSE +2 standard examinations. The school session runs from April to March. Minimum age for admission to nursery class is 3 years.
