About the School

This Institution was started by Late. Sh. Lajpat Rai and Late Sh. Ramji Dass Advocate on April 13,1980.This is the first culture - oriented Educational Institute of this city. An Educational Philosophy without culture produces vultures where as culture- oriented education leads to an integral human being. In the beginning it has only 40 students in a small Dharamshala of Late. Sh. Ved Ji Gote Wale. Now it has grown up into a big school running in three different buildings with a strength of 1500 Students. Apart from urban children, rural children from 30 villages also attend this school. School is conducting classes upto 10+2 std. in all streams (Humanities, Science and Commerce) At present a lush green landscape spreading over 39,000 sq yds is the main campus of this institution. There is provision for all types of games. The children have represented the school at State as well as National Level in sports. They bring laurels for this school every year.Academic excellence is the nucleus of an Educational institute and this school is a leading institute of Punjab. The result of past years is the proof of its achievements. A great effort is put up to cultivate the habit of reading extra books and this is possible only because of rich library. School has science laboratories which are well equipped and the entire teaching of science subjects is experiment- oriented. The present era is an era of computer and we are not lagging behind as we have a well organized computer department.Discipline is the backbone of our institution and every citizen witnesses the same. Our school is part of Sarvhitkari Shiksha Smiti ( Pb.) which is one of the state unit of All India Educational Society of Vidya Bharti, The largest Educational Organisation of the world which is running 30,000 schools with 31,00,000 students and 1,26,000 teachers..
