About the School

The Vidyalaya came into existence on July 1985. It functioned as a Primary School in Army barracks for about 13 years. It moved into its present own building on 23.08.1998. The first batches of 10th Class and 12th (Science and Commerce) Class were started in sessions 1990-1991 and 2000-2001 respectively. The major objective to setup Kendriya Vidyalaya by Kendriya VidyalayaSangathan under the Ministry of HRGovernmen of India To meet the educational needs of transferable and non transferable central Government employees, public sector undertakings, transferable and non transferable State Govt employees, other autonomous bodies and also the civilian population. To develop each Vidyalaya as a model school or pace setting institution in the context of national goals of Indian education. To promote experimentation, improvisation, and innovation in education in collaboration with the bodies like CBSE and NCERT. To promote National Integration which is the real need of our time. Kendriya Vidyalayas reflect and manifest an ‘All India outlook’ in very many ways.
