Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Vishwavidyalaya (RABLU), located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, is a newly established state university initiated by the Madhya Pradesh government. It was developed to address the growing demand for higher education opportunities in the region, especially for local students who found it challenging to secure admission in the prestigious Doctor Harisingh Gour University after it became a Central University. Named after the warrior queen Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi, the university aims to provide accessible and affordable higher education for students in Sagar and neighboring areas. The establishment of RABLU is seen as a significant step towards improving local educational infrastructure, reducing the need for students to relocate to other districts or cities for higher studies. The university officially commenced its operations in the 2024-25 academic session and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs​.
